Watch Medical Dermatology Therapy Update Webcast Series, recorded from Medical Dermatology Therapy Update III: Autoimmune, Chronic Inflammatory, and Advanced Malignant Diseases.
This CE-certified educational series offers a unique opportunity to update your knowledge and understanding of both traditional and new therapeutic strategies for a range of critically important medical dermatologic conditions, including rheumatology-dermatology overlap diseases, atopic dermatitis, advanced melanoma and other cutaneous malignancies, urticaria, sarcoidosis, hidradenitis suppurativa, autoimmune bullous disease, cutaneous lymphomas, alopecia areata, and psoriatic disease.
Learning Objectives
- Review classes and mechanisms of action of commonly used immune check point inhibitors (ICI).
- Discuss potential mechanisms of induction of cutaneous immune related adverse events (cir-AEs) in patients on ICI.
- Review common and uncommon cir-AEs and their treatments.
- Briefly describe current understanding of the pathophysiology of select non-infectious cutaneous granulomatous diseases, including sarcoidosis, granuloma annulare, and necrobiosis lipoidica.
- Highlight systemic comorbidities and interdisciplinary care coordination.
- Review current and emerging therapies in these skin diseases.
- Highlight an overview of artificial intelligence (AI), focusing on dermatology applications.
- Identify Chat GPT’s use in healthcare and medical diagnosis.
- Discuss AI regulations and future implications.
Target Audience
The online series is designed for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, advanced practice clinicians, physician assistants, residents, fellows and allied health professionals in dermatology, immunology, oncology, rheumatology, internal medicine, family medicine, and general practice.
