Overview of MAST – Medication Analytics, Safety, and Technology Conference

The second Medication Analytics, Safety, and Technology (MAST) conference, hosted by Cleveland Clinic Pharmacy, will be held on September 10-11, 2024.  MAST will be attended by industry leaders and innovators from across the country to provide a forum to exchange ideas, best practices, and innovations in healthcare technology around the medication use process.  There will be 3 educational tracks, Automation/Robotics, Medication Safety, and Artificial Intelligence/Analytics, and participants can move between all 3 tracks throughout the conference. There will be an opening reception on Tuesday evening, a full day of educational sessions on Wednesday, followed by a networking social event that evening.

By Participating, You Will Be Able To:

• Describe automation technologies available to incorporate in the medication use process to increase productivity and decrease opportunities for medication errors.
• Discuss use cases for deployment of artificial intelligence to improve the medication use process
• Demonstrate capabilities of advanced reporting and analytics platforms to support decision making around medication procurement, prescribing, dispensing, and administration
• Apply principles of medication safety to support medication prescribing, dispensing, and administration

Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Information Technology Analysts, Nurses, and other healthcare providers with a role or interest in developing advanced IT systems supporting the safe and effective use of medications for inpatient and ambulatory settings.
