Overview
This course provides a contemporary update of management strategies for head and neck cancer, using a multidisciplinary approach. Lectures and panels will provide a forum for discussion of updated therapies and new treatment innovations.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Highlight the importance and necessity of the multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of head and neck cancer.
- Update his/her knowledge regarding modern surgical techniques.
- Update his/her knowledge regarding radiation and chemotherapy strategies.
- Recognize and diagnose rare head and neck cancer diagnoses.
- Manage appropriate referral decisions.
