Overview

This course provides a contemporary update of management strategies for head and neck cancer, using a multidisciplinary approach. Lectures and panels will provide a forum for discussion of updated therapies and new treatment innovations.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

• Highlight the importance and necessity of the multidisciplinary approach in the treatment of head and neck cancer.
• Update his/her knowledge regarding modern surgical techniques.
• Update his/her knowledge regarding radiation and chemotherapy strategies.
• Recognize and diagnose rare head and neck cancer diagnoses.
• Manage appropriate referral decisions.

Head and Neck Surgeons, Otolaryngologists, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Trainees, Advanced Practice Providers, Speech Language Pathologists and Nurses involved in the diagnosis and treatment of the Head and Neck Cancer Patient.
