Description	The Opioid Rotation: What Comes After Morphine webcast was a satellite symposium held during the Palliative Medicine 2008 12th Annual International Symposium. This webcast explores the rationale for opioid rotation and alternatives.
Objectives	At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to: Explore the pros and cons of opioid rotation. Discuss the physiologic and clinical rationale for opioid rotation. Review specific conversion protocols for alternate opioid therapies.
Target Audience	This webcast is intended for physicians, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers involved with palliative care and treatment of their pain. In addition, healthcare professionals in hematology/oncology, internal medicine, family practice, and hospice care will benefit.
