Description |
This activity was presented at the Cleveland Clinic Richard J. Fasenmyer Center of Clinical Immunology Biologic Therapies for Autoimmune and Inflammatory Disease States Summit. The reviewed advances in biologic therapies for autoimmune diseases. |
Objectives |
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Identify factors associated within fusion reactions.
- Discuss prevention/ treatment of infusion reactions.
- Describe the basic elements of the integrated immune response.
- Explain the principles of anti-cytokine therapy including anti-TNF, anti-IL1 and others.
- Describe the principles of T cell directed therapy and B cell directed therapy with attendant benefits and risks.
- Discuss the options for monitoring for complications in office and out of office.
