Overview
The Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education and the Endocrinology and Metabolism Institute presents the 14th Annual Endocrinology & Metabolism Board Review 2011. This educational activity will provide participants with an intensive review of endocrinology and metabolism that is also helpful as preparation for the endocrine board certification examination.
This activity is co-sponsored by the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Target Audience
Directed to practicing endocrinologists and other physicians with an interest in endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes.
Objectives
As a result of attending this Board Review, the participant will be able to do the following:
- Describe diabetes control and complications;
- Interpret tests to evaluate hypo- and hyperadrenalism and apply the results to endocrine hypertension;
- Analyze thyroid tests and apply results to thyroid disorder management;
- Review evaluation and treatment of osteoporosis and calcium disorders;
- Appraise patients with hypogonadism and pituitary disorders;
- Diagnose important pediatric endocrine disorders;
- Evaluate endocrine disorders during pregnancy;
- Identify genetic disorders in endocrinology;
- Discuss the indications and consequences of new interventional therapeutic procedures;
- Simulate board certification questions and answers.

In case of cancellation, a full refund will be made if canceled by August 29, 2011. After August 29, 2011, a $100 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. Written notification of your cancellation is required in order to process your refund.NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER OCTOBER 31, 2011.
