The LPDA hosted Dr. Luna who presented "Advancing your Biomedical Research with NRMN"
Dr. Luna is the Executive Director of the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) and the Principal Investigator of the Administrative Core of the NRMN located in Boston College. The NRMN is a nationwide consortium of biomedical professionals and institutions collaborating to provide trainees across the biomedical, behavioral, clinical and social sciences with mentorship and professional development programming.
As postdocs and R.A.s, we can sign up to be both mentors and mentees. The NRMN website links mentees with mentors to promote career development, mentoring skills, and diversity in science. This is an opportunity to network and promote our own career advancement as well as gain experience with mentoring young scientists. NRMN also provides free grant writing workshops and mentor training programs. Join NRNM |
