AB-Rated Oral Contraceptives
The Drug Information Center receives numerous inquiries as to which oral contraceptives (OC) are interchangeable. The chart below provides a listing of the current AB-rated OCs, with the agents listed between the shaded rows being AB-rated to each other. Currently, the only OCs on The Cleveland Clinic Formulary of Accepted Drugs are Demulen 1/35, Demulen 1/50, and Ovral.
