Description

More than 70% of Americans will suffer headache pain severe enough to compel them to seek medical attention at some point during their lifetimes. This course will provide an extensive review of the trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias and migraine including classification, epidemiology, pathophysiology, treatment, and management for both sets of disorders.

There will also be a significant emphasis on medication overuse headache and other chronic headache, including in the pediatric population, and the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach to such patients.

There will be lectures on special topics such as rhinitis and migraine, migraine and dizziness, endothelial pathology in chronic headache, and future treatments of migraine and the trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias.
