Travel to Los Cabos is convenient with non-stop service to a number of US gateway cities.

It is mandatory to have a U.S. passport to travel to Mexico.

As of January 1, 2008, US Citizens will be required to carry a passport to visit Mexico.  U.S. passport takes 10 to 12 weeks to be issued. Visas are not required to visit Mexico, but you will need an Immigration Card. These are issued upon arrival to Mexico.

How to fly to Los Cabos

Los Cabos International Airport (San Jose del Cabo – code SJD) serve this area. Air carriers include:

Non-stop service is available from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, and San Diego. Los Cabos is approximately a 2½ hour flight from Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, and Phoenix.

Ground Transportation

The Los Cabos Marquis does not offer transportation from the San Jose del Cabo International airport.

The following options are available:

Taxi: Maximum 4 passengers. Fare is approximately $70 one way.
Shuttle Service: Tickets may be purchased directly at the airport booth for $13 per person one way.
Private Transportation: Maximum of 6 passengers for $65 one way in a large van with refreshment available.
Rental Car: Available with a valid driver’s license.
